Update the home page to include a summary/images

Here are a few ideas for improving the homepage:

• Adding a welcome message above the posts
• Adding links to the map/timeline
• Embedding a map of featured sites
• Adding images of associated properties

I just added a short project summary with a link to the About page.

The theme update from Lanyon to Minimal Mistakes gets us really close to calling this complete. Here are a couple things that I think we still need to do:

• Add a feature row with links to profiles of related properties (e.g. 1232 Druid Hill Avenue; Preston Gardens)
• Add a map with featured sites and information on how to add sites to the inventory
