The URL of the search service should be configurable, not hard-coded. Currently the auto-suggest does not seem to work due to it pointing to the old Solr3 scheme

I would rather prefer to have "Advanced Search" functionality over "Autocomplete". Solr should be very flexible for that what do you think. For example searching "flagella" in "Gene Description" AND in organism "dvu" etc. Or "biclusters" with "residual > 0.3" in organism "dvu" with function "flagella"
