shoudnt the fifo be stored on a ramdisk? or some note made.

I use snapcast for my home assistant multiroom audio system. (inside a VM)
for every room i have a music and a podcast/news stream and a general broadcast stream.
all connected to mpd services.
aparently this generated quite the disk io and resulted in glitched music when i my number of VMs on my linuxbox grew.

now i use a ramdisk for the fifo and everything goes flawless.

(I did not analyze the disk io properly its was it could be disk oi. lets setup ramdisk)

should there be some note somewhere that excessive fifos could benefit a ramdisk
