Two lywsd03mmc -- ones data is big endian, the other little

Got two lywsd03mmc devices. Ones advertised data is big endian (including mac address), the others is little and has two additional fields. Both were flashed with ATC_Thermometer.bin or so I've been told.

Big Endian: a4 c1 38 bb 5a 59 00 e5 3a 64 0b e7 4d
Little Endian: 7e f7 9f 38 c1 a4 92 06 77 1d 67 0b 64 97 0e

How did that happen?

Writing software to support flashed lywsd03mmcs so could use help understanding if this is anomalous (and why) or if I should expect it with other lywsd03mmcs.
