not connecting to IP

I am running HA OS on a RPi, on the same network as my Helios System, but the integration does not connect to my ventilation using the IP address (192.168.1.127) and a generic name (Helios). Do I miss something?

Same here...IP is correct but getting error: "Invalid hostname or IP address."

you have to activate "Modbus" on the helios webserver.

There is no ON/OFF modbus switch..just this...

My helios (kwl ec500w) is on sw-version 2.27 and in "Configuration" -> "Device" i got the following:

I have Easy controls 3.0 on my KWL 300 W ET R..so there is no ON/OFF button for the Modbus..:(

This plugin uses the python module easyctrl and it seems is works only with Modbus/TCP.
easyControls 3.0 uses only Modbus RTU which is no supported by the easyctrl.
Here is an open issue which should be also your problem Connecting to KWL 500 W R with easyControls 3.0.

Hello all,

I have a HELIOS KWL 360 with the newest firmware. indeed there is no native TCP Mobus present, only serial.
I bought a WaveShare RS485 to ETH converter. After installing it i was able to configure the Helios Integration IP and got the various sensors exposed by the integration. Unfortunatly no data seems to be pulled from the KWL nor any changes on the buttons seem to have an effect on the KWL.
Any help or advice ?
