Currently we can only represent real edges, but we could use the diamond that indicates the edge' sign and paint it with a divergent/cyclic colormap in such a way that the darkest option correspond to phase pi (- sign), and the brightest to phase 0.
For very small phases (noise) we could just remove the diamond to simply the graph.
