Describe the bug
In Donkey Kong 64, at the title sequence after the DK Rap, the first demo scene where Donkey Kong climbs up and jumps towards some vines, he just jumps in the water instead. Additionally, when starting a new game, the intro cutscene now softlocks the game after the first section where Crocodile Isle appears. The music continues, but the cutscene sits on a black screen. These issues were introduced in ares v134, whereas these issues did not occur in ares v133.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Launch ares v134 or newer
  2. Load the Donkey Kong 64 USA ROM
  3. Proceed past the DK Rap to the title screen
  4. Watch the demo scene with DK to see the timing issue there, or proceed to start a new save file to see the cutscene issues

Expected behavior
In the demo scene, Donkey Kong should walk towards the edge of the cliff, jump, and grab the vine.

In the cutscene, the game shouldn't softlock during the cutscene and should transition to showing Crocodile Isle and the rest of the scene.

EDIT: To clarify, even with ares v133 the timing of that cutscene is still a bit wonky (as it is with all emulators), but there's at least no softlock.

So more than a month later and this PR has had no comments whatsoever? I just ran into the same problem despite the website of Ares claiming that it was compatible. Nice.
