Hi Apptentive Team,

Hi @akjandroid ! Apologies for the issue.

Two things:

  • Would you be able to uninstall + reinstall the app on your test device and let me know if that fixes it? This will give us next steps, but we've seen similar issues in the past and this has typically cleared them up.
  • If you're still having problems, can you send me the full logs? We'd need to see from app launch to when you try to engage the Suggestions button.

Thanks,

Casey

Hi @akjandroid. Did your app happen to start using R8 in the build you're having trouble on? I ask because we've seen similar issues when migrating from ProGuard to R8.

Let me know if that's the case. Thanks!

Hi @akjandroid, I apologize for the delay! Can you help me understand what you mean? Sorry. I don't quite follow.

5.5.0 is our most recent version of the SDK.

Basically uninstall and install did not help(some time it works ..not always)..we still see this issue and we are on latest sdk 5.5.0

@akjandroid would you be able to email me at [email protected] with details on which app you're working on? I'd like to take a closer look.

For whatever reason, we believed that this was fixed in version 5.4.4 and we are not seeing this with any other customers.

Also, would you be able to send full logs from this?

If it's easier, I'd be happy to schedule a troubleshooting call as well.

Thanks again!

Sure.Let me share the full logs on above.Do I need to enable anything specific because apptentive related logs is just 2-3 lines..

Thanks! @akjandroid, could you send logs from app launch until the app has fully loaded and is on a screen in which users should be able to "use the app". I know that's subjective -- but I'm basically looking for a full session. Even though the Apptentive portion is brief, I want to be sure it catches everything.

Hi @akjandroid, I wanted to circle back. Are you still having any issues? Let me know and I'm happy to help.
