Is three part Kerberos principal mandatory for Jdbc connection?

Hi,

I am using the JDBC Driver to submit queries. I'm able to make it work with a 3 part kerberos principal , however I run into this exception when I'm using 2 part kerberos principal. Do we have any workaround for it or does Kyuubi JDBC Driver require 3 part principal always?
