Thanks for the advice.
1) Github had a version of git that did not support multiple authors.
Somewhere along the way someone did a commit this way so we cant use it
unless we want to rewrite the history and mess up years of valid hashes and
references in the world. They have only recently announced plans to upgrade
their version of git to allow this.
2) Meanwhile someone squatted the FreeSWITCH github in the small window
after I changed my personal account name which happened to be FreeSWITCH
from years ago.
3) Github support is who told me to post it there as an issue. I gave them
more than enough proof I personally own the trademark and rights to it.
They decided to do nothing and specifically told me to do that.
4) Our git repo is not always down. We have a dedicated gigabit connection
and have been up the majority of 15 years.
5) I don’t actually owe you any explanation and the tone of your email is
quite rude and condescending so I suggest you try to be more diplomatic.

You guys are seriously so bad at GitHub.
First, you have a repository open where there is no source code and you
link to BitBucket (ugh), which is always down (#3
<#3>), not even a mirror is
set up.
And now you demand a user name is freed up by creating an issue in your
own project and tagging the given user.
Freeswitch is a cool project, but this is just pathetic.
To not be *just* negative, because I can't watch this, I'll give you a
free tip: contact GitHub support, an actually reasonable channel to go
through trying to obtain that user name.
