Projection the 3DMM(.ply) onto the 2D image(.png)

Hello I am interesting in this work, I am trying to grab all this project. But I can not figure out how the resulting 3DDM is projected unto the 2D image. I will appreciate any explanation or directive to the code snippet that does that. Thanks in advance
