I am using Ubuntu 12.04 default firefox. When I hover I get a grey box the size of the image but no image itself. I first lost seeing images after a few days but could still see images if I went to a private window. Now neither works. I am removed and readded with the same results. I have clicked and unclicked all the preferences. I am unsure what the problem may be

Debian jessie, Iceweasel 38.1.0. After some time browsing, no images are displayed, just grey boxes. Browser restart helps. It seems to me that the bug is triggered by images bigger than what fits on my display. For instance this image triggers it for me http://i.imgur.com/OLXmAe5.jpg That image has resolution of 2765x2074 and my display is 1600x900.
