Streaming Issue, Not sure what I'm doing wrong and would like help.

Description

My PC will not stream video nor audio to the headset, all thats seen in the headset is black even when in the Steam Home.

I tested with one of the nightly releases. didn't work.

Did you read through the wiki, especially the linux troubleshooting page? Note that the first entry there will always be needed currently due to SteamVR being annoying

I read through and tried some of the solutions and am still having issues.
I barely remember if I tried the first entry but I'm pretty sure I did, I'm a while away from my house currently so I'll try to get back to you and double check.

well I THOUGHT I tried that, it starts up and works-ish, but now it's just slow in the headset specifically.
preview it shows as pretty decent frames but it lags in the headset.
