allure-cypress with after:spec?

How do we use allure-cypress with an existing on('after:spec') definition in setupNodeEvents? In order to get any output, I need to put allureCypress(on) after on('after:spec'), but allure overwrites that definition so I lose functionality.

The shelex/cypress-allure-plugin version has a allureReuseAfterSpec option, but I don't see anything similar in the official package.
