[Bug] - VR Center Front Limits VR Controller Movement Direction (To Same Starting Orientation) #343

Describe the bug
When starting in VR (facing the preset VR Ecosystem's 'Center') the VR controls relate all directions of movement to 'that' center direction, ex. VR Front Center facing 'north', means facing 'South' reverses all controls. Controls seem to be based on the VR Ecosystem's "Center Front", so any direction faced not 'Front' makes the controls wonky.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Start App facing 'Front'.
  2. Turn 90 Degrees or 180 degrees and expience VR Controller movement issues (D-Pad directions basically).
  3. Have 'fun' figuring out why controls don't quite match up.

Expected behavior
For the VR Controls to be relative to the 'sphere' of the player, including whatever direction they are facing.

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS: Windows 11
  • Version: DanceXR Itch.io (April 2024)

Additional context
None.

I'm wondering if this works better in 2024.10?
We've fixed an issue with camera centering in VR, camera reset / recenter should work correctly now.
