DescribeLogGroups has some interesting properties to report on:

  • dataProtectionStatus
  • metricFilterCount
  • retentionInDays (also find log groups that have no retention)
  • storedBytes

@elthrasher, tnx for the suggestions! I think that LogGroups and their retention metrics is a great place to start the CloudWatch command 🙏 tnx for the contribution 😎
