Hi,
I was trying to run the project on Ubuntu 20.04 and had problems with running the example codes, so I tried to fix them to make the examples compatible with Debian/RPM installations of Algorand Node.
Basically it fixes 2 things in
tokens.py
:data_dir_path
withALGORAND_DATA
environment variable if it's already set by user.~/.algorand/mainnet-version/kmd-version/
. Sokmd_token
andkmd_address
must be retrieved from that directory if it exists. In both cases we first check if the corresponding variables or folders exist, so one can still run examples like before on other operating systems.
