Why permission "Access browsing history"?

Hello, I would like to disable this permission or see it entirely removed. Can you make it?
It is only one of the tens apps that has this mandatory permission which also seems risky for ones privacy.

The permissions required by Clippings and why they are needed is explained here: https://aecreations.io/clippings/permissions.php. In summary, the "Access browsing history" permission is required to prevent cluttering the browser history with entries for the Clippings windows and dialogs.

I will re-evaluate the requirement of this permission in future versions and will consider removing it if Firefox no longer tracks opening extension pages and windows in the browser history. Making it an optional permission is also a possibility.
