What's New in Version 6.0:
• Compatible with Thunderbird 78
• The Clippings Manager window and the New Clipping dialog have a similar look and feel as the same found in Clippings for Firefox
• It's now possible to drag and drop clippings and folders in the clippings tree list in Clippings Manager. This feature has been broken since Clippings for Thunderbird 5.6, and is finally fixed in version 6.0
• In the New Clipping dialog, you can now preview the clipping when applying the options to create as unquoted text or remove extra line breaks
• Available in Dutch and Portuguese (Brazil)

Things You Should Know About:
• Clippings for Thunderbird 6.0 is compatible with Thunderbird 78 only. It is not compatible with earlier versions of Thunderbird, nor is it compatible with current beta releases of Thunderbird.
• On Windows 10, the keyboard shortcut for pasting a clipping using its shortcut key has changed -- it is now ALT+SHIFT+Y. The old shortcut CTRL+ALT+V still works on Windows 7. The macOS shortcut Command+Option+V is unchanged.
• The option to show a prompt when pasting a clipping containing HTML tags into an HTML-formatted message is no longer available. If you had selected this option in previous versions, the clipping will now be automatically pasted as formatted text.

Clippings for Thunderbird 5.7.3

What's New:
• Displays a message when Thunderbird starts up about availability of Clippings for Thunderbird 6.0, which is compatible with Thunderbird 78

Known Issues:
• When creating a clipping from the New Clippings dialog and selecting a destination folder, the new clipping may appear under the top-level Clippings folder instead of the selected folder.
• In Clippings Manager, when moving or copying a clipping or folder to another folder, the tree list won't automatically expand to show the new location of the clipping or folder.

Things You Should Know About:
• Rearranging clippings and folders in Clippings Manager by drag and drop in the clippings tree is currently not working. Instead, use the Move toolbar button to select a folder to move or copy to, or right-click and select the Cut, Copy and Paste menu options. To rearrange items within a folder, select the folder, click the Arrange toolbar button, then in the dialog that appears, you can use drag and drop to arrange the items in the selected folder.
• To display the extension preferences dialog, open Clippings Manager, then select Tools -> Options. The Clippings preferences dialog is not accessible from Add-ons Manager.
• If a shortcut key is assigned to a synced clipping, and the shortcut key assignment conflicts with another clipping, the synced clipping will lose its assigned key in favor of the other clipping.

Clippings 5.7 is compatible with Thunderbird 68. It is not compatible with Thunderbird 78. If you are upgrading to Thunderbird 78, upgrade Clippings to version 6.0, which is now available.
