GQL is basically Cypher which is popular in the LPG domain. But pretty much no one in the RDF world cares about it, hence the lack of feedback to your question here. While this might make sense to implement as second query language at some point, it surely doesn't make sense as long as SPARQL 1.1 is not yet fully implemented. Also the RDF-Star W3C Working Group might solve the problem of LGP/RDF interoperability to some extend, so it makes sense to wait for that as well first. My personal opinion is that this does not make sense before at least a year from now, depending on the progress of SPARQL 1.1. |

As after one month there is no single feedback at "Idea" #1326 (Add support for GQL - ISO/IEC 39075:2024) , it would be interesting to get a feedback via this "Q&A".
What do the programmers think about supporting querying by ISO GQL?
