Greetings from a new Linux user to all out there in Internet land.
I like to clarify the proper steps to getting the VDH and the Coapp Install that work.
It seems that there are a few miss guided instructions on the pages of getting the Coapp installed via Terminal
this is and has got to be corrected
On this page https://www.downloadhelper.net/w/CoApp-Installation where you have the links to download the Coapp.deb file for Linux
you say to run this cmd in terminal ⚠️ Run ./vdhcoapp install (not as root) after extracting the binaries (not necessary for .deb). which when done comes back as no directory found. This is the wrong cmd.
the proper command is this one without the brackets of course {/opt/vdhcoapp/vdhcoapp install}... This is found on the page Coapp not recognized , I doubt if people will find this instruction so the web page should be updated and better clarification needs to be used like here where I've pointed out..
This needs to be changed on the previous page where the links are so that people like me can get the extension working. Make it simple
Once that is done then you must go back to the VDH extension in the FF browser itself click on the settings icon / scroll down to the Coapp setting click on this and then click on the recheck button and the info should come back as Coapp installed..
If you get this done So may people will thank you for it. I'm just here to hopefully get someones attention on the poor design web sight instruction. So Please get on with fixing this issue.
