When you added a custom system or renamed an existing system in Launchbox the tapto life app doesn't recognize this.

Hey everyone,

I’m running into an issue with TapTo for Windows and its integration with Zaparoo Android. I can’t seem to get all my platforms to sync to the Android app, and I suspect there might be something off with how TapTo is handling things. Here’s the deal:

What’s happening:
Platforms won’t sync to Zaparoo Android:

Some platforms, like Wii U, just don’t show up in the Android app after I sync.
The XML files (e.g., Nintendo Wii U.xml) are in D:\LaunchBox\Data\Platforms, but it looks like TapTo isn’t indexing them.
tapto.ini doesn’t seem to do anything:

I’ve added entries for the missing platforms (e.g., Wii U, Switch) in tapto.ini, but it feels like TapTo doesn’t care.
The debug logs show no sign that the file is even being read or applied.
Limited platforms indexed:

When I check the logs, I only see a handful of platforms indexed (NES, Genesis, Gameboy, etc.), but others like Wii U aren’t there.
All the platform XML files are in the right folder, and everything looks fine on the LaunchBox side.
What I expected:
TapTo should read tapto.ini, index all platforms from my XML files, and let Zaparoo Android sync them properly.

Setup details:
XML files: Stored in D:\LaunchBox\Data\Platforms (e.g., Nintendo Wii U.xml).
Games folders: Specified in tapto.ini (e.g., D:\LaunchBox\Games\Nintendo Wii U).
Logs: No mention of tapto.ini being applied, and Wii U isn’t indexed.
Android App: Missing platforms like Wii U after syncing.
My questions:
Does TapTo.exe even read tapto.ini? If so, what’s the trick to make it work?
Are there any special requirements for platform indexing (e.g., folder structure, file naming)?
How can I get all platforms (like Wii U) to sync to Zaparoo Android?
Any help would be appreciated! Let me know if you need more info or logs. Thx :)

Only the systems that are compatible with the MiSTer (nes , snes etc) are currently only visible in the zaparoo app, systems exclusive to windows like Wii U, PS2, Wii and so on are currently not visible in the app. They will be in the near future. This is as designed.
