Nothing shows in the logs re: this issue. I never see an on/off log message even when I turn on manually
Describe the bug
I have a MagicHome lightbulb as my front porch light. I have it set up w/ automations in HomeKit based on sunrise and sunset (along with some other lights in the house). It turns on a little before sunset and is supposed to turn off a little after sunrise.
It consistently fails to turn off, but successfully turns on.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
In the HomeKit app, set an automation to turn light on with other lights
Create a second automation to turn off light with other lights3.
Attempted to even create a standalone automation JUST for the lightbulb in question (still fails frequently)
Expected behavior
Expecting that the light will turn on with the others when the automation is run and turn off when the second automation is run.
Additional context
If I 'test' the automation, the light properly turns on/off. If it's running normally, it's not a 'sure thing' that the light will properly turn off.
Host Hardware
Hardware: Raspberry Pi 4
OS: HOOBS
OS Version: bullseye (i think)
Homebridge and MagicHome
HOOBS version 4.2.3
Homebridge MagicHome Dynamic Platform version 1.9.7
I have more or less the same problem:
turning the magic home led on/off works manually in the home app 98% of the time (same for "test this automation") but when the device is used in an automation and the automation is triggered by an actual event it does not work reliably. maybe 30% of the time.
the automation is triggered by a light switch. when the light switch is turned on, the light should turn on. as there are no logs for on/off events: in the home app you can actually see for a .5 seconds the state of the magic home device changing, but then resetting to the previous state. other lights (non-magic-home) which are triggered by the same automation work much more reliably.
Kind of the same thing - if I ask siri to turn the room off, all of the other lights will turn off but not the light powered by this plugin. If I ask Siri to do it again, then this light also turns off.
Same issue using homebridge in a lxc (not that it matters). Manual triggers in apple home, the wifi dimmer turns on and off with no issues like 98% of the time. If part of an automation or if i specifically say turn on/off X room via siri it fails fairly often.
