While building and debugging cartridges, booting to the live system with the cartridge inserted is useful.

Tested with VotV cartridge. Worked in all tested configurations:

  1. cold boot while shift pressed
  2. shift pressed just after cold boot
  3. warm boot while shift pressed
  4. shift pressed just after warm boot.

Tested with no cartridge inserted and no issues observed.
