About The Project

An application to automate tasks done at the Central Laundry, NITK and bring it into the 21st century with the use of modern technology. Developed and maintained by members of DSC NITK.

Here's why:

  • With the onset of the pandemic the availablity of a minimal contact digital system is no longer a luxury but a necessity.

  • Long orders old laundry orders are often hard to keep track off not just for patrons but also the staff having a digital platform enables efficient running of enterprise crucial to NITK life.

  • The Laundry System enables people who give service at the laundry to automate tasks like billing and keeping manual records of customer’s laundry.

  • It will also enable the customer to see whether their laundry is completed and also will enable them to pay for this service via google pay or UPI etc.

  • integrated notification services to notify both customer and admins about relevant information.

Prerequisites

These are the basic requirements for setting up the local develpoment server

Installation

  1. Clone the repo using
    git clone https://github.com/your_username_/Project-Name.git
  2. Follow steps in frontend README.
  3. Follow steps mentioned in backend README.
