Why is scala-steward never visiting our repo?

• We set up following .scala-steward.conf (on Mar 7, 2022) because there are many different sbt projects in that repo (there is no build.sbt in the root): https://github.com/playframework/play-samples/blob/2.9.x/.scala-steward.conf
• scala-steward was never visiting: https://github.com/playframework/play-samples/pulls?q=author%3Ascala-steward+
• The default branch is called 2.9.x (not main or master if that matters, but I think it doesn't because that works on other repos of ours)

Is there a problem with our config? Is there a log somewhere what's going on?

OK I just this repo is listed in #98 already, I will continue posting there.
