I hope I can imagine what I want to achieve:

First of all. Let us simply draw the brick with some thickness.
Normals and colors should be added.
Probably the light as well.

In addition, every brick must be created as an array of vertices, so it can be used in shaders (I hope I will manage how they work :) )
