When I plug in a LUKS encrypted external SSD, I get a prompt to enter the decryption password. When I enter the password, I see that the drive has been decrypted, because the name of the volume shows up (before entering the key, it only shows up as "Encrypted 1TB")
However, when I try to open the volume on gnome files, I get the error: "This location could not be displayed" "You do not have the permissions to view the contents of "Samsung 1TB" ".
On the terminal, I can see that the mount folder owner is: "nobody nogroup" with the permissions "dwrx------". So nobody can open the dir.
Steps to Reproduce
Create an external ext4 drive (pen drive, external HDD/SSD) encrypted with LUKS
Plug it into a Vanilla OS computer
Try to unlock the device and access the files
Enter the correct password
On what version of Vanilla OS this happens?
Vanilla OS 2 Orchid
