I have noticed that audio quality in half life for linux is not as good as the audio quality in Half Life for windows.

After asking about the issue, someone suggested I paste a command in the launch startup of half life which did work until I had to reinstall LMDE6 on my system due to me fouling up my partition. I was trying to convert my install from bios to UEFI

I know that the audio quality in other games are fine. Source based games seem to have the same audio quality as their windows counterparts. Gold source based games are the only ones that I noticed that seem to have this low audio quality issue in linux.
