Request from TreeGenes. They already have data from 20 genera and support 199 genera right now so a more efficient way to configure germplasm is needed.

This is how programatic configuration is currently done: https://github.com/DivSeek-Canada/tripal-crop-configure/blob/master/tcrop_config.drush.inc#L145-L192

We need an API function to make this much cleaner!
