I masked those two documents. Taking a quick look at that seg page, it's a typical story: - The section header in the set of 4 sub-figs is what's causing them to not get re-combined in post. - The body text being split on the right, is a bit of a whack-a-mole situation. Tune it to fix some issues of type A, and issues of type B pop up. The gap between lines looks just wide enough to split (I guess because there are no characters that dip below the text line in the above section). We're probably doomed to oscillate between issues like this until the proposal (or postprocessing) evolve a bit.
