If a profile photo isn't available, what graphic should be shown.
Why
There are various services that encounter this issue and several solutions. It would be useful to have one graphic to ensure consistency.
Anything else
If you've used a placeholder image/graphic to represent a missing profile photo in your service and tested with users, please add your experiences in the comments below.
