Occupational control is a very nifty addition to install friendlier regimes and to add mayors that are more loyal to you.
What if, however, you could do more than just that? Adding one or more of these functions to Eventwar would make peace much more engaging. Peace terms and their aftermath are perhaps more important than the war itself.
Town Annexation: Instead of relying on hoping friendly mayors pretty please join your Nation after installing them as new rulers, you could instead set them as mayor and then force the still occupied Town to become a part of your Nation. This way, you can selectively take towns (they would still be considered occupied until the period is over). They could also give away occupied towns to other Nations, with a check on the recipient Nation's side on wether they want this Town or not.
Town Ruination: Allows for the instant ruining of an occupied town without needing to kick every member from it separately.
National Dissolution: (aka: Balkanization) self descriptive, it would allow the occupier to dissolve the defeated Nation's... well... Nation, liberating all towns under it (they would still be considered occupied until the period is over).
National Creation: Allow occupying powers to make a list of Towns that would merge into one new Nation (or more) that would become separate from the defeated nation (they would still be considered occupied until the period is over).
