Need for Text Selection

I was blown by the potential that a TUI app has, practically competing with the web-based apps in multiple areas. Thanks to Textual and its simplicity..
Given the omni-presence of language models these days, running a small language model locally offline has caught interest. I think, being able to select text dynamically, and let language models do some corrections in the selected text is a pretty handy and useful case.

Can you please let me know if something of this kind is in the works for textual or is it already possible ? While mouse-selection of text as I understand, requires some support from the terminal app, a keyboard-based selection would help too.
