Looking for a way to deactivate shorts on the "News" page

Hello everyone,

I have been using NewPipe for some time now and am a big fan of the app. Many thanks to the team for their great work!

However, I noticed that shorts are displayed in the "News" section on the main page. Since I personally have no interest in shorts, I would like to know if there is a way to filter them out or hide them.
