Discussions serve as a space to talk about anything and everything else, including less immediately-actionable, developed or clear cut work that may ultimately merit an issue or PR. For example, if you see a typo in the documentation that you want to be fixed, go ahead and submit an issue or PR right away! On the other hand, if you have doubts about the entire structure and goal of what we are doing and want to discuss it, for example, it'd be best to bring it up for conversation here before spending too much time working on something others might not support.
