The WeatherForecast was initially chosen because it would be familiar to .NET developers.

From a branding/synergy perspective, it may be better if the app were instead similar to that generated by the Spring Initializr.

Over the last months, we've extensively adapted existing Steeltoe APIs to align with .NET patterns and conventions, based on feedback that Steeltoe feels "odd" to .NET developers. We've also recreated several samples, based on recent versions of the built-in .NET project templates.

I'd prefer to keep the projects produced by Initializr as similar to the built-in .NET templates as possible. This makes it easy for users to spot what's Steeltoe-specific code and what's default boilerplate code, by diffing against a default project.
