In Squid, there is a nice erasor mode that allows one to simply touch a stroke and it will be removed in its entirety. It's a bit like the undo button, but would work for any stroke, not just the most recent.
Ideally, this would be added in a way so that it could be used as finger input and drawing would be done with the active sylus (e.g., s pen or m pen).
