When I use/open the dialer or immediately after a reboot incoming calls work as expected – dialer interface wakes up the phone's screen and displays the dialer interface allowing me to either accept or deny a call. However after the phone's been idling for some time incoming calls do trigger a ringtone through the speakers, but the dialer itself never appears. Even when the phone is unlocked there's a ring but no dialer interface. Shortly after I get a notification of a missed call. I suspect it might be something with notifications in general but not sure at all. Can anyone help me debug the issue?
I've tried all the options I could, including displaying the dialer over other apps etc etc, none seem to make a difference. I also have all google services disabled.

Thanks, I was aware of that, and I had the problem with Fossify as well, thinking it was a new fork I decided to try with the original Dialer. Anyway, I'll continue the conversation in that other thread.
Hope someone can help me understand the issue.
