Node-RED Remote Control

I've been looking for a way to control my boat remotely and found this Remote-RED app. So far its the best setup I've found since you can basically build your dashboard in the SignalK Node-RED plugin and then it makes some sort of SSH tunnel so you can connect to it from anywhere. The only downside is that its paid, but pretty cheap - <$10/year.

It was a bit confusing to setup, but once I figured it out it works well. The SignalK specific configs are:

Serving Port: 80
Base URL: /plugins/signalk-node-red/redApi/ui

Once you set that, you use their app which will show you the login page for signalk. Login and then eventually you should get your Node-RED dashboard. Pretty sweet!
