Hi there,

It's a nice package. Since Emacs 29 will support tree-sitter itself (they use the word tree-sit), do you have any plan to support tree-sit mode in Emacs 29?
In Emacs 29, they usually need a major-mode named like [lang]-ts-mode, this is different with the current we have, which is a minor mode. But I think this is not a big problem.

Note to self: Add to Emacsmirror again once there tree-sitter isn't a (hard) dependency anymore.

This is an addtion to ess-r. ESS (R) is good enough and it is a big work to rewrite it in r-ts-mode for a major mode.

There is an r-ts-mode already. Not tried yet myself.
