Feature Request: Enhanced Episode Matching Workflow

Summary

I’d like to suggest some improvements to the episode linking system for unrecognized files, in order to make it more efficient and user-friendly when dealing with large or disorganized episode lists.

Current System

1. Limited "Fill Range" Control:

   • The "Fill Range" option only works when episodes are listed sequentially. If they aren’t, they have to be matched one by one.

2. Batch Removal Not Supported:

   • Currently, episodes can only be removed from the linking UI one at a time, which can be tedious.

3. Loss of Selection on Partial Match:

   • If I select multiple episodes but can’t match all of them, the UI takes me back to the unmatched list, forcing me to re-select episodes.

4. No Option to Unlink Matched Episodes:

   • There’s no quick way to unlink episodes once a match is set, unlike the "Link TMDb Episodes" feature, which allows easy adjustments.

Proposed Improvements

1. Multi-Select Range Fill:

   • Allow multi-select (e.g., Ctrl + Click) within the matching UI to apply "Fill Range" to just the selected episodes.

2. Batch Episode Removal:

   • Add an option to remove multiple episodes at once from the episode linking UI.

3. Preserve Selection on Partial Match:

   • If only part of a selected group matches, keep the remaining episodes selected and return directly to the series selection UI.

4. Unlink Episode Feature:

   • Add a quick option to unlink matched episodes, similar to the "Link TMDb Episodes" feature, for easier adjustments.

• Smoother Workflow: Reduces repetitive steps and manual re-selection.
• Increased Flexibility: Easier to manage large selections and make adjustments.
• Improved User Experience: Streamlines the episode matching process with fewer disruptions.

In my opinion these enhancements would make the manual linking UI more efficient, especially for large and messy episode lists.
