Keeping on with feedback, this morning I stumbled on a first note with tables.
First, this is veeery promising! Table editing with lightweight markup languages has always been such a pain, that having proper tables to work with will be a huge relief...
Now for the quirks ;P
First, the cursor is sent back to the beginning of the line as we type, making it unusable
It is impossible to apply formatting to text already present in the cells: it disappears instantly
keyboard shortcuts seem to be bypassed, at least am I forced to move focus out of the table to use Ctrl-Z
Alternate line coloring doesn't follow theme and is pretty rough for the eyes
There is no way to switch the block to "raw mode" to circumvent those issues
The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:
Seconded. I can't speak for the other complications as I've only just started dabbling in Joplin, noticed the theme issue, and came here looking for solutions. Planning ahead for every theme can be complicated, but simply adding a menu option to choose our own cell background colors and default font colors would probably solve that part.
