Description

Since Microsoft AppCenter is being retired, we will now need tools to replace the facilities it provided to Shwaas. Shwaas currently uses CodePush and AppCenter analytics. Through this project, we will move out of both these tools.

Goals

• Replace Codepush with EAS updates #4
• Set up analytics #5

Expected Outcome

The app should now provide updates through EAS and analytics through Firebase

I came across the Shwaas migration ticket and am very interested in contributing to this project. I have hands-on experience with React Native and want to work on implementing CI/CD pipelines and analytics integration in mobile applications.

I would appreciate it if you could share any documentation or details that could help in understanding the current setup and requirements for replacing CodePush with EAS updates and integrating Firebase analytics.

Hi @nitin14gupta Thanks for your interest.

We are currently in the process of upgrading stuff at this point. Codepush, CI and Microsoft AppCenter have been removed already, but nothing to replace it. Things need to be setup from scratch.
