I found the old Robin Woods Sylvia skins on a hard drive and remembered how much I liked them. She derived hers from Eloh Eliot's early skins and the Linden Lab viewer shaders, adding skin tones and much detail.
To adapt them to Max - modeled teeth, toes, fingernails, and EEP, I removed or diminished the baked in ambient occlusion baking, and added tooth texture. I might be able to adapt them to Maxwell, still thinking about that.

I just tried them out inworld, and they're all too orange, and the detail too harsh under EEP lighting. So I deleted them here. But they do work with the new modeled teeth and toes on Maxine. I plan to run them through Gimp again to fix the problems.
