Fan Control does not Control AMD GPU with ADLX Plugin

I have the AMD ADLX Plugin installed and set up. I can get the software to control the GPU fans, but when I try to calibrate (manual or automatic) the fans instantly go to zero percent and will not allow me to control them unless I reload the config. Sometimes FanControl will give me a "?" next to the GPU card saying it's being overridden by an unknown application. I'm assuming this is supposed to be AMD's Adrenaline software; I chose the minimal installation during the setup process.
