The Talent Team is implementing new Career Partnership Packages, and this ticket outlines the necessary changes on Connect to ensure Career Partner mentors receive more visibility compared to regular mentors. Additionally, the ticket details the adjustments needed on the Platform to accommodate voucher codes for Career Partner mentors participating in the Corporate Mentorship Program.
What needs to be done?
Let's categorize all the mentor types on the Platform based on the new Career Partner approach:
Category 1: Regular Mentors signing up on CON require no changes. Category 2: Mentors from Career Partners (CP) signing up on CON need to be sorted on top of the match criteria from mentees Category 3: Mentors from CP participating in the Corporate Mentorship Program (CMP) must submit a voucher code during sign-up or in their profile. This code will link them to a campaign in Salesforce (the voucher code is coming from a Campaign that Janis/Hadeer had created when the company decided to participate in a CMP)
Actions Required in SF before Mentor's sign-up process on CON:
If the Company is a CP, the designated checkbox in SF must be selected by Janis. `We can use the checkbox we have created for CP on TP.
If the Company participates in CMP: the designated checkbox must be selected by Janis in SF and Campgain must be created by Janis/Hadeer in SF`
To make this work we need to check the possibility of SF domain/email automation (Ghaid to check kindly with Sales5): to
Verify the mentor's email address during CON sign-up.
Trigger the following modifications on CON accordingly: Option 1: If CP is not selected on the Company's SF account, Mentor is Category 1. Option 2: If CP is selected but no campaign exists, Mentor is Category 2 and ranked higher. Option 3: If CP is selected and a CMP campaign exists, Mentor is Category 3 with the ability to insert a voucher code (question to us: where will it be better to insert: pop-up window after sign-up/somewhere in a profile - we will think about this during design creating process). Should we let mentors move forward with filling out the profile without inserting a voucher code?
Important notes:
The mentor should use a work email address to make this process possible.
Change of Mentor's category:
If they need to become a CP Mentor (Category 2) but if their email address is not with the domain of the company, we can update their email address on Salesforce, and also connect them to the company Account on Salesforce. This should make them a CP Mentor.
If they want to become a CMP Mentor (Category 3), then again we can toggle this on Salesforce
We might need to update some emails, like Sign-up Complete, Welcome to Category 2 and Category 3 mentors.
The Stepper that we are implementing now should remain the same, but Category 1 and 2 should see it as a regular mentor, and Category 3 should see it as a corporate mentor (meaning that the step 3 should not contain info about onboarding call).
To confirm:
-The current checkbox for Career Partners to be removed - what will be the impact on SF? If the mentor is participating in CMP, then we can have the list of them from the Campaigns
-Vouchers for Campgain: currently we don't have a connection to Campgains from a codebase. Anil needs to see how campgains are working on SF now - Ghaid and Janis to help!
