Full Release - v1.5.6

In this full release of pcHealth there has been added a new function called: BIOS Recovery Password.

This function can be found in the Tools menu, at number 16.

What it does is directing the user to a website called: https://bios-pw.org

• This website is a kind of database in which you can enter the 'password-error key,' when you have done that it should come up with a recovery password.

Disclaimer regarding this function is as follows: I did not create this function or what it does myself, it's a project from @bacher09, this means that I don't own any of the rights to/of bios-pw. If you have questions about bios-pw I would strongly recommand you to visit the bios-pw repository.

Full Version Release - v1.5.4

In this version 2 functions have been added to the script.

• Users can return to the sub-menu instead of going back to the main-menu.
• Users can opt for function '10' in the tools menu, for a system programs update scan/download.

If there are any inconveniences please let me know, besides that I want to thank @BigoStream for helping me out and creating a large sum of the function '10' code.

Beta Release - v1.5.3-beta

In this beta release there has been added a new function.

The function is called: 'Update System Programs' and does what it says.
It fetches the programs used on the system (programs with specific rights) and will check if there is an update available.

If it is, it will update the programs, the user may be asked by the programs that are being updated, if the users agrees etc. (Any normal 'accept to install' menu's could pop-up).

This function was created by @BigoStream but had some small flaws in them.
In this beta release they should be fixed.

Beta Release - v1.5.2-beta

Resolved an issue that was persistent in the previous beta release.

Issue: User couldn't return to the previous sub-menu in the 'Programs' menu.
When a user tried to return, the script would close and soft crash.

Beta Release - v1.5.1-beta

It is now possible for users to return to the previous (sub)-menu instead of going back to the (main)-menu.

Full Release - v1.5.0

Finally - v1.5.0 is out!

In this 'full-release' a lot of buggs and other small issues have been resolved in the script (comparing to v1.4.0)
Some of the errors that have occured can't be resolved, these issues won't be listed here, except for the 'Audio Feature,' this is because of the limitations .batch scripts have since the latest updates from Windows 10. Windows 11 eliminates a lot of functionality in the script.

The future will be .PS, I think, that in the next release of Windows (probably Windows 12 ((2025?))) .bat programs will be almost non existent, only for the small things. PowerShell will be Microsofts future, so this repository will not get any big updates regarding to the .PS side.

There will probably come a new program/script from me, which will work with a Framework, GUI, 'local' database and other extensions to be able to support systems from Windows 7 to current.

But before I go over all the changes that have been made, I first want to thank all the people who have put their thoughts in the script and helped me: @Jaccosf, @DIFO2007, @Stensel8, Mitchel, Mark and many more! Thanks again!

Fixes:

• Code has been re-writen and made easier/faster to execute
• Minimized typo's and other errors regarding to text
• Fixed random script crashes (batch)

New Features:

• VBS Script - For WIndows 10/Windows 11 license key retrievals
• Audio driver re-install/restart function

Known Issues:

• Script closing after re-installing/restarting Audio Drivers (Function = '10', menu = '1')

Audio Feature

In this release a new feature has been added.

In the first menu (software) = '1' has been added a audio re-start/re-install feature = '10'.

Still had some small errors and typo's...

They are fixed in this version, script has been rolled out to a few testers/colleagues.

So I'll be waiting for feedback, later this week there will be a full version release as planned!

Beta Release - v1.4.5-beta

In this beta-release I have put my focus on the sub-section called: 'Tools'.

It wasn't working as it should, users had their issues getting the correct download to some of the programs. Another problem that occured on a regular basis was that after you had selected 1 program, it would automatically go forward in the script... this ment that it automatically downloaded every other program that was on the list after the selected program.

I have changed the way it works and updated some of the links.

I hope it works better this time around!

Beta Release - v1.4.4-beta

Added a new script to the pcHealth repository.

• KeyGrabber.vbs has been implemented.

If for some reason the pcHealth.bat script doesn't comeback with a License key (option 13.) then you could try to run the KeyGrabber. It has its own folder inside the main-zip.

This will comeback (99%) of the cases with a license key.

A full release will be coming soon!
