When I move the cursor, there is a lag, and the plugin consumes a very high CPU usage. You can test this by writing a line of text and moving the cursor (especially noticeable in Vim mode) left and right several times, and the CPU usage will quickly spike.

Could you try to disable thr Drag and drop feature. And then see if this issue remains

I experienced severe performance degradation across the app with drag and drop turned on; pages sometimes would take forever to load. Can confirm turning off DND restored performance and stability.

I experienced bad performance drops as well. Specifically, the plugin was on and I was testing the editable text embeds feature by adding ![[note#heading]], and after it appeared (which took a few seconds), while the feature worked, holding the down or j button (vim) to go down would quickly lag out and made editing highly difficult

Thanks for detailed steps!

But i cannot repro this yet. If anyone could provide me a screen recording, it would be helpful

You can copy hundreds of lines or more, and when moving with Vim's normal mode, you can feel significant lag.

Plugin is completely unusable suddenly. It completely hogs up the CPU and obsidian completely lags. I am on a M1 Pro Max.
