On account creation (or next login for existing accounts), ensure the user looks at a guide for how to use Boiler Books. Often, people are unsure which can lead to money not properly flowing or bad processes. This guide can either be :

  • A beefed-up version of the existing help page (not my choice)
  • The long-form FAQ database on the wiki (my choice)

To ensure people actually read it, a new page with a link/iframe/text pointing to the guide is shown to the user with no way to easily progress until a button affirming the user has read the guide is pressed. For further confirmation, the button might be disabled until the user interacts with the guide.

This will also probably involve a database schema migration to ensure you properly flag which users affirmed they have read the guide. Non-flagged users should not be able to progress in the UI until they affirm.
